My back hatch/ trunk failed out of no where and when i went to go lift it i obviously had not known something spontaneously went wrong i was in my trunk just an hour before with no issues, and it dropped back on me and has since been extremely heavy and doesn't work.

From time to time the accelleration hesitates. i have to press the accelerator very deeply before the car starts moving. usually it happens when the car reaches a complete stop and takes off. it clears after the engine restarts and works normally until it happens again. it is very random, no correlation to heat/cold or time driving. this has been happening since the car passed thr 50k miles. it never happened before.
