Using FindMechanic
FindMechanic connects drivers and independent mechanics. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, use an account you are authorized to manage, and treat other members respectfully. You must be at least 18 years old to enter repair agreements through the platform.
Free platform, independent repairs
Account creation, job posting, bidding, and messaging are free. Repairs are separate agreements between the driver and mechanic. The parties decide the scope, price, taxes, parts, timing, payment method, and any warranty. FindMechanic does not perform repairs, employ listed mechanics, or process repair payments.
Listings and conduct
Post real repair needs and accurate quotes. Do not publish private information, misleading qualifications, unlawful content, spam, harassment, or content you do not have permission to share. Administrators may hide content or suspend accounts to address abuse and operate the service.
Choosing and completing work
Drivers are responsible for evaluating mechanics and confirming the scope. Mechanics are responsible for their qualifications, permissions, tools, and work. A driver’s completion confirmation records the platform workflow; it does not replace any separate repair agreement. Only completed jobs can receive a driver review.
Problems and availability
Use the report controls for platform concerns. Workmanship, pricing, and payment disputes should first be discussed with the other party. The platform does not guarantee a bid, a booking, a repair outcome, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing on this page is intended to remove rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
