The backup camera on the ford transit connect 2014 has failed, making the vehicle unsafe, particularly for backing over pedestrians or small children difficult to see in mirrors. we see that recalls on the backup camera have been issued for models 2015 and later, but it is apparent that this is an issue for earlier models as well. please require that ford address the problem with all models.
Back up camera cuts off at random times when backing or is not available at all. there is a recall our 2015 tranist connect for this issues but no recall issued on the 2014 model year. we basically cannot safely back up in this van.
This here is the continuation of complain # 11736595 and ford case # 01747943. the aim is to inform nhtsa and ford that this issue at hand is already a recall from other years on the same car model, materialized by nhtsa campaign number: 22v192 and ford recall number: 22s20. there is no need to identify if this issue can be recalled, it was already identified as necessary in the past. yet, this one vin here was left
