The transmission has failed, it is a 2022 chevy silverado, which other vin numbers have federal recalls regarding the same issue our truck is having. the truck locks in place while driving and then gives a jolt. the manufacturer has the vehicle who we bought it from. i also have been in touch with gm regarding this issue as well.

Vehicle engine failed with approximately 48,000 miles. prior to failure, engine shut off while traveling 55mph on a public highway causing operator to have to pull over to restart engine. vehicle inspected by gm dealer who advised metal in engine oil, requiring engine replacement.
