P34B9 B Camshaft Position Actuator Temperature Sensor Range/Performance Bank 2
Temperature sensor of exhaust cam actuator on bank 2 reads implausibly. The camshaft position sensor identifies which cylinder is on the compression stroke — without it the ECM cannot run sequential injection or coil-on-plug ignition correctly.
Is it safe to drive with P34B9?
Usually safe for short trips, but don’t ignore it: the underlying fault can get more expensive over time.
Common causes
- Most likelySensor reading drifted
