P34A9 A Camshaft Position Actuator Temperature Sensor Range/Performance Bank 2
Cam actuator A temperature sensor on bank 2 reads implausibly compared to engine warm-up state. The camshaft position sensor identifies which cylinder is on the compression stroke — without it the ECM cannot run sequential injection or coil-on-plug ignition correctly.
Is it safe to drive with P34A9?
Usually safe for short trips, but don’t ignore it: the underlying fault can get more expensive over time.
