2022 Honda Odyssey: recalls and problems

I was driving forward in the left lane, no cars in front of me. a garbage truck parked in the middle yellow lane to my left, a moving city bus on my right lane, but they were a bit further back, not driving next to me. there was a cae behind me. was going at 25mph, then suddenly the automatic brake stopped my car. i didn’t understand why. it happened for a good 3 seconds. then i was able to continue forward. so scary

The trunk on the van will close on its own. it does give a warning by beeping, but it’s happened at least half a dozen times. when the trunk comes down it happens quickly and has hit multiple people in the head. it’s very heavy too.

My van stalled twice and the 2nd one we need to have it towed to the dealership. the first time it stalled, we thought its only the battery and was able to run again. but the 2nd time it wont turn on even the batteries are good. the dealership diagnose it as the start/stop mechanism of the van due to the "eco" function (it stops the vehicle running when it is stop while driving) and they said that because of this the

There’s been several incidences but the most recent one was today. while idling, my car fills up with a gas/exhaust smell. it happens intermittently but it has happened 4 times in the last week. if i shut the recirculate mode off, the smell will start to go away till i turn the recirculate back on. after further investigation, there’s several people with this issue as honda odyssey owners. problem has been reproduce
