2014 Dodge Grand Caravan: recalls and problems

The headrest safety feature deployed while the car was parked with the key out of the ignition. the internal plastic components have failed and broken and the headrest is not repairable. this incident happened on 9/23/2026. no prior warning lights were displayed and no previous symptoms were visible before failure. currently, part is available for inspection. a dealer was contacted to check on warranty replacement. v

Safety issue with slider doors not opening. you can hear the sound of the locking mechanism noise continuing after attempting to open the doors. this will happen when it is very hot or cold weather. i think it might be the actuator. i have three toddlers and have had to climb over the front seats to get into the back seats!

The airbag compartment in the drivers seat headrest popped open while driving and i have been unable to pop it back in. i was not injured but it scared me and could have caused an accident.
