2020 Chevrolet Suburban: recalls and problems

In 2025, one if the pistons misfired. it was repaired and the same issue occurred a year later causing the cam shaft to break as well. not to mention we had an electrical failure where the dashboard didn’t work and the water pump failed right after it was in for the first piston misfiring. it was repaired at ciocca chevrolet in [xxx]. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 5

Engine had a catastrophic failure and completely shut off while driving down the highway. the engine has completely seized and requires replacement. the vehicle was towed to an independent service shop and the technician diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced.

There is a safety recall on gm’s 6.2l v8 l87 engine model years 2021-2024. my vehicle is a 2020 suburban with a 6.2l v8 l87 engine. my engine recently experienced the same failure as cited in the recall, but because it is outside the 2021-2024 window it is not covered by this recall. i ask that the recall be expanded to additional years where these engines are experiencing the same failure as is covered by the curren

I just received an email with this the following: nhtsa recall id number :26v289, warning about front or rear wheel lockup. per the nthsa website, there is no recall. the email came from: [email protected]
