P210E Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch C/F Voltage Correlation
The redundant throttle or accelerator pedal position channels C and F disagree by more than the allowed tolerance. Drive-by-wire systems compare two or three independent channels to detect a faulty potentiometer track.
Is it safe to drive with P210E?
The car may go into limp mode (reduced power). Get it diagnosed before a long trip.
Common causes
- Most likelyOne potentiometer track worn — voltage drift
- PossibleWater in pedal connector
Symptoms
- Check engine light on
- Reduced throttle response, possible limp mode
- Hesitation or surging
- Idle too high or too low
